The taste of water
More through less, economy of means
Managing a particular level of informational complexity with charm is a subtle everyday problem.
Here the need for 'filing documents' is answered in the limited world of provincial family life.
Several 'pages' with a total of 31 pockets of varied sizes, which, in use, would fold out like a child's paperfold. As the pockets are few, titles could be dispensed with and contents recalled by colour and pattern. The outer surfaces are made from pleasant fragments, most likely remaining from other uses or past times. When the two outer sides of the folio are brought together, the exterior presents a sober blue.
Without texts or conventional code, the act of organizing is mute, allowing one to delight in the playful act of handling.
